Reiya had wanted to go a candy store for some chocolate. Naturally, she went with Loki, and even bought him some, hoping he would take the hint. But it wasn't Valentine's Day, and he seemed to be more interested in the chocolate than her. If the chocolate wasn't so good, she would have cried. As it was, they kept going along their way, Reiya briefly taking a piece of Melty Blend out every now and then and daintily popping it into her mouth.

Loki just devoured the chocolate like an animal. It was incredibly surprising-- she'd seen him eat before and he was usually just so gentlemanly and neat about handling food.

Is it that the chocolate is too good? she wondered as they walked down the street. They passed a flower shop, and Reiya immediately wished that Loki had insisted on stopping, and had gone in and returned with a dozen red roses, which he would then give to her and smile that smile of his and say...

"OH MY GOD, THAT'S SO CUTE!"

The two of them stopped, bewildered by this sudden blast of loud English. A pair of foreigners stood in their way-- and they were definitely foreigners, no mistaking that. Both were girls with sunglasses and baseball caps. One had a camera. The other had a t-shirt with the kanji for "fish" on it, with the English word "love" underneath.

Fish-Love continued to ramble in English, which Reiya didn't quite understand. Something about cuteness and... cuteness and... hugging?

Reiya glanced over at Loki and looked at his chocolate-smeared grin. Suddenly, she wanted to cry again.

Before she could, though, Fish-Love had her in a squealing headlock.

"What-- what-- what are you doing?" she cried, trying to push and wriggle out of the hug, but it was somewhat hard to do with Fish-Love's chest happening to be right there. Meanwhile, Camera had started taking pictures like mad, the flash going off and blinding Reiya repeatedly.

Eventually, Camera's camera reached the end of the roll, and Fish-Love let her grip loosen enough for Reiya to squeeze out and run to the nearest alleyway. There was a brief flash of light, like another camera going off in the alley. Then, a beautiful woman with long blonde hair walked out. A beautiful, pissed-off woman.

"Now see here, you," Freya began, in Japanese. But that was as far as she got before she noticed that Camera was looking at her rather strangely...

"Your turn!" she cried, glomping Freya as Fish-Love pulled another camera out of her pocket. The blinding flashes resumed, and to regain her bearings, she closed her eyes, glanced away, and opened them.

What she happened to see was Loki, watching with glee as he took out a piece of chocolate and carefully smeared it on his face without eating.

Lightbulb.

"LOKIIIIIIIIIII!"
