Nikki shivered as she picked up her case from the crime scene. She walked to her car and climbed in, putting the heating on. Trust her scene to be in a walk in freezer in a restaurant in the middle of winter. She called Leo to tell him she was on her way back and to get the layout room ready for evidence, then started the car.
"Hello" Harry greeted her as she walked into the lab and she nodded in his direction, giving him a small smile, she was still cold and was starting to shiver.
"Are you alright?" he frowned and walked over to her "you're shivering"
"My scene was in a walk in freezer" she told him as her teeth chattered and he smiled and placed his hand on her cheek.
"You're frozen" he told her "You need to warm up otherwise you're going to get ill"
Nikki nodded and allowed Harry to guide her to the locker room, at that moment it was the warmest room in the lab. He sat her down and asked for her locker key. She pulled it out of her pocket, handed it to him with trembling hands and he opened it. He pulled put some of her warmer spare clothes and handed them to her. Like the gentleman he was he looked away while she changed and then wrapped his arms around her, giving her some extra body warmth.
"You don't have to" Nikki mumbled after a while as she lay her head on his shoulder.
"I do" Harry replied "You're my best friend and it just gives me a chance to cuddle you" Harry told her and Nikki leant up and kissed him on the cheek.
"You don't need an excuse to do that" she told him and lay her head back on his shoulder and closed her eyes.
