Hi, this is Kathy/Rose/Rose-Ann here. I finally figured up how to upload a story thats to the help of ShinobiCat. :D

I know it may sound crappy, but my writing skills aren't extremely amazing. I tried to make people in character as much as possible.

Asuka Tenjoin stared at the clock hands move slowly. Second by second. Minute by minute. Chrono-sensei continued to talk on and on about dueling strategies, almost expecting that someone, anyone would listen to his advice.

"Then you want to make sure that-," Chronos-sensei started. He didn't go very far, however, for he was interrupted by the bell for school to end. The students all perked up to hear the sweet sound of freedom ring through their ears.

"Remember, class to study for the quiz tomorrow. It will be part of your final semester grade, and I expect that you all do well," Chronos-sensei said.

"Is it that time of the year already?" Asuka thought to herself. Time seemed to be going at lightning speed now that she thought of it. It didn't seem like it was too long ago that they were protecting Duel Academia from unwanted dangers and monsters from other dimensions. Now, all of a sudden, people are talking about final semester grades, end of the year parties, and graduation. Not to mention careers they want to pursue after they graduate. Her thoughts were interrupted when her two best friends, Junko and Momoe called to her from the classroom door.

"Asuka! Hurry up!" Junko half yelled.

"Alright, already! I'm coming," Asuka said lifting herself out of her classroom chair. Then the three of them started to walk off to dinner.

~Dinner~

"Uwaah! You're so lucky you know what you want to do after you graduate, Asuka~!" Junko stated, almost in awe.

"Yeah, " Momoe started, filling up one side of her mouth with air so her right cheek was inflated. "I still don't know what I want to do after I graduate. I mean, I guess it would be nice to follow everyone else into the Pro League. But it always seemed like a guy type thing... If you know what I mean."

"Also, wouldn't there be traffic with all the schools under the Duel Academy branch getting off at the same time? Then the chances of you would be a matter of timing, wit, and dueling skill.. And with all those good duelists, you wouldn't make it very far before you got kicked out or have to start all the way from the beginning," Junko continued.

Asuka took a sip of her tea and heaved a sigh as her two friends continued to talk about future goals.

"Wouldn't it be good if time just stopped for a second so that we wouldn't have to rush to keep up with it? Then we could enjoy life a little bit more. . . And maybe. . All this talk about futures after we graduate would just come to a halt," Asuka thought.

"Asuka, are you okay?"

"Yeah. You seem a little out of it. Do you have a fever or something?"

"No. I'm fine. Just thinking," Asuka said, putting on a slight smile.

"Oh. Okay. So anyways, I was thinking that-," Momoe continued her conversation with Junko. Junko nodded and put in commentary when needed, trying to help Momoe decide her goals after she graduates and then witching roles when Momoe's dilemma had been settled.

I guess as we get older we finally get to understand what grown-ups mean when they say time flies when you're having fun," Asuka thought to herself as she picked up her tray and went to dump out the rest of its contents.

" I'm going to go study for the quiz tomorrow," Asuka said as she went back to the table her friends were sitting at.

"Kay, bye," Momoe and Junko chorused in unison.

And off Asuka went to study for the last quiz of the final semester.
