Blaine reached in to his pocket and pulled out a tiny velvet box. Kurt's first Broadway performance couldn't have gone better and Blaine pulled his boyfriend aside as they were leaving the theatre. He has never felt so proud of anyone in his life as he did Kurt that night. He was talented, smart, beautiful, gorgeous and all his, all that was left to do was for Blaine to make his mark on Kurt for good.
The water flowing in the fountain made perfect background noise for the warm summers evening on which Blaine had chosen. He pulled Kurt in front of him, looking his straight in the eyes. As he bent down on one knee his eyes didn't leave the younger boys body that he'd become so familiar with. The silver suit he was wearing pulled him in all the right places for Blaine to get a perfect view. Kurt's eyes widened in shock as he realized the moment in his life he'd been waiting for was finally going to happen after 27 years of waiting.
"Kurt, I love you. I have never loved anyone more than I have loved you for the past 10 years you have let me in to your life. Now I have you, I never want to let you go. Tonight made me so proud of you, you achieved your dream. Please help me reach mine." Blaine popped the top of the box open to reveal a gold band placed inside. Kurt still stood in shock. "Kurt Hummel. Please will you do me the honour of becoming my husband?"
Kurt managed to close his mouth and think this moment through. It was perfect. He was staring at the one man he'd ever loved and he was actually being proposed to! The one day he thought would never come had arrived. He stared deep in to Blaine's hazel eyes. "Of course I will!"
"You mean it?"
"Blaine I want to marry you!" Blaine jumped from the spot on the ground and moved in slowly for a passionate kiss that seemed to linger for hours. They were getting married! They were perfect for each other and they knew it, today was a new start for the boys. A new start that meant they would be together for the rest of their lives and no-one could change that fact.
