Prologue:The Dream
I was falling.
I felt myself falling into what looked like darkness.
Then there shined a great light.
I looked and saw a shining platform.
I landed on both feet. Looking around I couldn't see anything but the platform below me and the darkness surrounding it. I walked forward until suddenly I heard a voice. "Summon your key." the voice commanded. "Summon your key." it said over and over again. I stretched out my hand and suddenly a key shaped sword appeared.
"Now defeat the Shadows." the voice said, as suddenly creatures that looked like they were made of shadows appeared.
They moved in shuddering jerky motions. They stepped forward and began to try and attack me. I swung the key shaped sword quickly destroying one in a hit. Seeing that they could easily be defeated I began swinging, taking them down one by one.
"Good now you must fight the Darkside." the voice said. Then a portal of darkness appeared consuming most of the platform as a large creature climbed out of it.
I stepped back in fear. "You will have to fight creatures far worse than this, monsters stronger and larger." the voice said as the creature preceded to raise its fist to attack. "You will have to face the darkest darkness." the voice said as the creature finally brought down its fist.
I woke up on the floor of my room. Apparently I'd fallen off my bed during the night. I slowly got up from the floor. That dream was odd, what could it have meant. "DAMEN!!! BREAKFAST!!!" I heard my mother calling me from downstairs. "COMING!!!" I scream back, walking to my door, not noticing the necklace that lay on my dresser.
Third Person POV
A figure in a black coat watched the town from an island. "This world has been connected." the robed figure said, walking farther down the beach.
