A Michael and Nikita Poem
Loving someone can only be so much
Especially breaking your heart in the process of it all
After having everything taken away
The choice how is to stand or to fall
Threat after threat, coming at full force
You and your loved one, filled with tears of pain
Each fight and war causes more blood to spill
I don't know much more that I can sustain
Letting you go goes straight through the heart
But the happiness I see makes it worthwhile
One day I'll see you again
With you and your brand new smile
For now, I'm saying my goodbyes
Walking without knowing when we'll meet again
I just hope when that day comes,
We can go back to being friends
I wrote this poem a long time ago when I had watched the episode when Nikita sacrificed her happiness so Michael could be a father. I was in tears until the very end. I hope that this poem would show the same pain also and I couldn't think of a title so I put "Title Unknown" to make at least a little bit more suspenseful.
