I OWN NOTHING! THIS ALL BELONGS TO THE CREATORS OF I MISS YOU! TITLE IS BASED OFF A LINE FROM SWEET NOTHING BY FLORENCE WELCH AND CALVIN HARRIS! I OWN NONE OF THEIR MUSIC OR LYRICS!
This is my first I Miss You fanfic. I noticed there is only one other on here and it's not even in English so I thought that I would put one up here for the folks that don't speak Indonesian. I hope you like it! Don't flame me too badly on this one ;)
Every Whisper, Every Sigh
Harry waited. He waited for her to come back to him. His injured leg ached and he had been awake over forty eight hours. But the moment she walked in that door, his world shifted. Nothing mattered anymore, she had come back for him. He had doubted for a while, then immediately afterward he felt ashamed. How could he have such little faith in her? His eyes filled with tears, for more reason than one.
"Harry? Do you really not know who did this to your leg?"
The question hung in the air for a second. Of course he knew who it was, but he couldn't let her know. She would leave him if she knew. He sniffed and crawled to where she stood. He hugged her nylon covered leg to him. Burying his face in her outer thigh and clutching for dear life made him feel better. He felt whole again. He had missed holding her. He missed her smile and how everytime, without fail, she would duck her head so you couldn't see it. It always made him smile too. He missed the way she laughed silently and would let out an unladylike snort if she was really amused. And he missed how much she needed him too, in a way. Never like how he needed her, but she would never leave him. She stiffened from her awkward position, but pulled back to crouch in front of him, he felt better now that she was at his level. Both uncomfortable for entirely different reasons, sat on the floor. She asked him again, he really wished she wouldn't.
"Kang Hyung Joon, do you really not know who did this to your leg?" He had forgotten how much he loved hearing her call his name, his real name.
"I don't know. I'm scared."
He lied to her and sobbed harder. He clutched her to him by her shoulders now, he could feel every hard line of her body. It made him want to kiss her more than ever. But he didn't, he learned that lesson the hard way last time. He would never do that again, even if it meant they never touched each other for the rest of their lives, married or no. He needed to explain how much he missed her. How much it meant to him that she had come back. But all he could get out was her name through sobs.
"Zoey... Zoey... Zoey."
He couldn't stop shaking. She tried to move away but he couldn't fathom that thought now, he crushed her against him. The elevator opened with a ding and Jung Woo stepped out with a shout.
"Soo Yeon!" Harry continued to stroke her hair. When Zoey heard Jung Woo, she tried to leave, but Harry forced her back again. Reminding her where she belonged.
"Zoey, I knew you would come back to me." He whispered against her cheek.
Harry looked right at Jung Woo, he was staking his claim. Zoey knew what what he was doing. But she also knew she could never leave him. She needed Harry, not as much as he needed her but they were tangled together. Almost as if their life forces were something tangible that couldn't be unwoven, not even by Han Jung Woo. Kang Hyung Joon and Lee Soo Yeon did not exists any longer, just as there was no Harry Borrison without Zoey Lou. He felt it the moment she came to this conclusion, and he couldn't hold it in any longer, he smirked.
