Prologue

Hector Barbossa slipped his hands around Nadia's slim, curvy waist, and he entwined his fingers in her long, wavy, jet-black hair.

Nadia Barbossa, Hector's new wife, stared into her husbands eyes with her own emerald, curious eyes. "Don't be so hasty, Hector." she said, looking down on his hands cautiously making its way to her butt. He chuckled. "We are husband and wife, are we not?" Nadia's sparkling smile drooped.

"We were married this afternoon, and we've only dated for eight months. It was, indeed, love at first sight, but give me some time to adjust."

Hector had given his calm, quiet, clean, sailor's life to be with Nadia, whom was a pirate at birth. Nadia looked out at sea and that wild, adventurous look crept back to her eyes like a lurking tiger.

"Well," Barbossa said, "I must steer the boat. Don't fall into the ocean," Barbossa said, chuckling. Giggling, Nadia replied, "I'll try not to." The next few hours were full of irony and drama.

Barbossa had taken control of the ship when he heard a piercing scream fill the air. He ran over to the edge of the ship where Nadia had been standing. He peered over the edge of the boat and saw Nadia's screaming, frantic, thrashing form in the murky waters.

"NOOOOOOO! NADIA!!! THROW OVER A LINE, YOU LAZY BUNCH OF SEWER RATS!!! SAVE MY WIFE, OR I'LL HAVE YOUR HEADS ON A SILVER PLATTER!!!!!!" Barbossa yelled at the top of his lungs. "HECTOOOOORRRRR!!!!" Barbossa heard Nadia cry. He leaned over the railing just in time to see Nadia be claimed by the murky depths of the never ending ocean. *************************************
