Aqua: Hey! It's me. We forgot to do the beginning A/N, and Nike and Dargon aren't on, so I have to do them by myself. Anyway, disclaimer! :(
Disclaimer: We will own PJO when the walls of my house start to do hip-hop and our dance teacher encourages us to eat junk food. In other words - we no own.
Annabeth smiled and did some sort of thing related to math. Don't ask me - I have not the foggiest clue. Numbers. Lots of numbers. I looked over her shoulder.
"Wise Girl, what's up with all of the digits? 3.1415…?" I stopped after the fifth number, because I was too lazy to continue.
"Percy, what's today's date?"
"Don't you know?"
Annabeth rolled her eyes. "Of course I do, Seaweed Brain. It's essential to being organized. One date mix-up could cost me something I couldn't repay for a lifetime."
"What? I got lost…"
Annabeth crossed her arms in slight frustration. "In other words, think of this like a pop quiz. What's the date?"
"Um...hm...erm...uh...something. Hold on...do you have a calendar somewhere?"
Annabeth sighed and shook her head. "And I thought you were somewhere near somewhere near somewhere near smart. Turns out I wasn't anywhere near that."
"Say what?"
She sighed. "Look at the date. March 14, 2015. 3/14/15!"
"And… what is important about that?"
"You're hopeless."
"No, I'm not. I saved the world once. And Pie Day? Do we… DO WE GET PIE?!" I jumped up and down hyperly, just thinking of all of the sugar pie contained. I'm so pumped for this!
Annabeth facepalmed. "Today is Pi Day. Not P-i-e pie, p-i pi."
I scratched my head in confusion. "What's the difference?"
"I told you you were hopeless."
I'm wounded. I had hopes for the future, so that meant that I wasn't hopeless, right? "I'm not hopeless, Wise Girl. I have hopes for the future, for us."
"Oh my gods. Did… did you just actually sound cheesy?"
"Yeah. What about it?"
"You're never cheesy…"
"Sarcasm is key. The key to all insaneness."
"Percy, it's not insaneness, whatever that is. It's insanity."
"Insaneness, insanity, whatever. All I want is pie. Like, pumpkin pie." I spotted pumpkin pie on our table. "Pie…" I swear, I probably was drooling.
"Percy…" Annabeth said warningly. She knew that I knew better than to ignore her now. "Finish your homework with me and you may have a slice."
"GOT IT!" I screamed happily and finished in a flash. "Can I have the pie now?"
"Only if you get more than half of the answers correct." She said skeptically, looking over my homework. Uh oh.
"Er… ahem, let me check them over for a sec…" I sighed, taking the paper with all these funky-looking math symbols on them.
"What's this?" I asked, pointing to one of them.
She sighed. "That's the symbol for pi."
"Doesn't look like a pie."
"For the last freaking time, Seaweed Brain, it is not p-i-e, it is p-i!"
"You know what? All this talk about pie is starting to make me hungry. Let's get some pie." I walked over to the table and cut the pie in half, before eating my half in two gulps.
Annabeth gave up. "Fine…" She walked over to the table and neatly finished her half. Way to make me feel good, Annabeth.
"Now, back to the homework. You know that pi x r squared is the…" Annabeth started.
I sighed and picked up my pencil. Might as well get some homework done…
Then I went back to daydreaming about pie. And then saw the blueberry pie with blue crust on the table.
"Aaaaannaaaaabeeeeeeeeth, there's blue pie on the table! Pleeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaase?"
Aqua: The ending is meh. But I really wanted to post this on Pi Day. As most people know, it's 3/14/14. Closest to pi we'll get this year. So, because neither Dargon nor Nike are on right now, I'm just gonna post. Sorry, guys! But this is perfect for today. Anyway, bye! *dissolves into cookies*
