I do not own Degrassi or James Blunt.
My life is brilliant.
Meet Jay Hogart. He had everything going for him. After high school he turned his life around and opened up his own shop, he was successful, gorgeous, and had his friends behind him 100 percent. He had everything he wanted, except…
My life is
brilliant.
My love is pure.
I saw an angel.
Of that I'm
sure.
She smiled at me on the subway.
She was with another
man.
But I won't lose no sleep on that,
'Cause I've got a
plan.
Jay was riding the subway, on his way into work when he saw her. She was beautiful, the most amazing thing he had ever seen. She was like an angel, she was so perfect. But his heart broke in two when he saw him.
You're beautiful.
You're beautiful.
You're beautiful, it's true.
I saw your face
in a crowded place,
And I don't know what to do,
'Cause I'll
never be with you.
She had always been the most beautiful creature ha had ever laid eyes on, even now, and he loved her since the beginning. But he lost his chance, he lost it a long time ago.
Yeah, she caught my
eye,
As we walked on by.
She could see from my face that I
was,
Fucking high,
And I don't think that I'll see her
again,
But we shared a moment that will last till the end.
She must have felt Jay's eyes on her, because she looked up, and smiled. Jay's heart nearly pounded out of his chest when she did this, he loved her smile, he loved everything about her. But then his heart dropped when she got off with the other guy.
You're beautiful.
You're beautiful.
You're beautiful, it's true.
I saw your face
in a crowded place,
And I don't know what to do,
'Cause I'll
never be with you.
The doors closed, and jay was left sitting there staring at the spot where the beautiful woman had been just moments ago. He got off the crowded subway train and sat in his office, thinking about her.
You're beautiful.
You're beautiful.
You're beautiful, it's true.
There must be an
angel with a smile on her face,
When she thought up that I should
be with you.
But it's time to face the truth,
I will never be
with you.
As Jay sat there he just got more depressed. Someone up there must really not like him, because why else would the torture him by letting him be in love with someone he could never be with? Someone up there must be laughing at his misery right now. Even as Jay walked home, he still thought of her. Once he got in his apartment, he walked over to his nightstand and picked up a picture frame. It was a picture of him with the love of his life, but it was from a long time ago, another life almost. It was a picture of him and Emma Nelson.
