Another KHR Poem~! This time, it's about my # 1 favorite couple in KHR; Chrome and Hibari!
a.k.a 1896~!

It was all because of the Sky that they had met.
Cloud and Mist, both completely different,
yet at the same time; share one destiny.
The Cloud who preferred to be alone,
never once acknowledge those around him.
While the Mist lived in a world of
insecurity and doubt,
not one did she deem trustworthy.
A world of Solitude is what he prefers.
While a world of Illusions is
where she finds comfort from it all.
He never once acknowledged her presence.
She sees him as merely an ally.
Although he is not willing to admit it;
he is afraid to love her.
But that may be because her heart belongs to another.
A heart that doesn't know how to love…
…And one that has forgotten how to love.
The rest of the world means nothing to him.
One man; means everything to her.
Unfortunately, Fate does not want them to be together.
Cloud and Mist were never
meant to be friends since the very beginning.
They were destined to fight
and hate one another until the bitter end.
And although he hates her other half…
…He simply cannot bear to hate her.
But she does not notice his efforts, leaving them in vain…
…Her heart simply belongs to another, and that is the sad truth.
Some may say that it is simply
not meant to be, they are
just too different and it will never work out.
He has gone through too much to give up now.
And she simply refuses to lose any more than she already has.
Some may say it is impossible, or they were just not made for each other.
But in truth…
…It's just a case of unrequited love.
[A/N:] Yes! My first 1896 tribute! I hope it was alright.
I've been a fan of this pairing way before I started watching KHR, so this was really fun to do!
And by the way: I'm not against any other pairings with Hibari or Chrome; I just like 1896 better~! (I also happen to like 8018 too~! XD)
