Tessa looked up at the electric blue eyes staring down at her and took a step back. She could feel the cold wall pressing against her back as the mysterious man stepped closer to her. "W-who are you? What do want from me?" she asked quietly. The man simply chuckled and brushed his fingers across her cheek. "You don't know the future will hold for you," he said. "You don't know the pain and death that will occur when they arrive."
"They? What are you talking about?" Tessa asked. She didn't like this man. She didn't like him at all.
"You naive child. They're coming for you and they'll kill your father."
"Who are you talking about? Why would they want to kill my father?" The man backed away from her and looked at her sadly.
"He didn't tell you? Oh, you poor thing. You're stuck in the middle of this war. His war."
"Who-?"
"The knight and the...shifter. Quite a duo they make I'll admit," the man murmured. "But not everyone can be trusted. We all have secrets and some are best kept hidden."
"Wh-where are you going with this?" Tessa asked and trembled in fear. The man smiled and turned his back on her.
"Naive little girl," he said. "The creators want you dead."
"Why me?"
"Your destiny will shape the fate of Earth. It's funny," the man said and chuckled. "Most people say that Nibiru doesn't exist but they're wrong. They're all wrong."
"Nibiru?"
"Planet nine. Earth is about to be destroyed, but maybe...perhaps we can save it."
"We? As in you and me? Or everyone?"
"You and I. Yin and yang, but with a small twist. I know that you'll say no, but don't worry about it. I'll be back." He looked at her and smiled. "I'll always be back." Tessa shuddered and avoided his gaze. Whoever this man was, he was very creepy.
"I don't-"
"I know. But you can't get rid of me."
"Yes, I can."
"Heh, you remind me of your Aunt. It's a shame she..." The man paused and cleared his throat. "Anyways, the creators are coming for and they'll destroy Earth. That is all you need to know. Now, awake." A flash of light blinded Tessa's vision and she found herself sleeping on the couch next to Shane. She didn't even remember what had happened before she had that weird dream. She rubbed her eyes and noticed her father watching her through narrowed eyes before scoffing and muttering the word "ignorant" as he left the living room. Tessa didn't even get a chance to say something to him as she heard the front door slam shut. She made a mental note to figure out what his problem was and decided to go after him. She opened the door and noticed a brown feather on the floor. Tessa looked around to see if she could find her father but there was no sign of him. Where had the feather come from and who was the mysterious man in her dream?
