Daniel is the higher plain of excistence, standing close to a bridge that's high above a waterfall.
He slowly starts to approach it and sees an older woman with long brown hair wearing a short sleeve
oversized white and red diamond button shirt, blue jeans and running velcro shoes.
As he gets nearer to the bridge, the woman jumps off and goes through a stargate.
An old native american is watching this from a short distance.
Daniel turns his head and the man is now standing next to him.
"Why didn't you let me stop her?" Daniel asks.
"It's her time to leave. She's been here long enough. And soon, it will be your time to leave." he answers.
"How do you know..." Before Daniel finishes his sentence, the man vanishes.
Daniel mumbles, "I hate it when he does that."
The woman is now inside Daniel's old office in Cheyenne Mountain, lying on the couch resting.
The lights are going on and off and the computers are acting up. Old Elton John songs are
playing throughout the mountain and no one can figure out why this is happening. Jack is walking
through the corridors, looking everywhere to find the source of the disurbance. For some reason,
he decides to look in Daniel's office. The native american is with him, but Jack doesn't
know this.
When he gets there, he sees the woman lying on her side on the couch. He walks up to her
and lightly touches her left shoulder with his hand. She turns over and opens her
light green eyes.
The native american smiles and vanishes.
"Hello." Jack whispers. "Don't be affraid.
"I don't know why, but I'm not." Kris responds softly.
"Good. I'm Jack and you are?"
"Kris."
"Listen Kris, what are you doing here?"
"I'm not sure."
"Your not sure?"
"No. The last thing I remember I was standing on a bridge."
Kris yawns. "I'm very tired."
"I know you are." agrees Jack as he pulls up a chair to sit in next to the couch.
"Listen Kris, If you don't mind, I'm going to stay with you for a while."
"I don't mind Jack." murmurs Kris falling asleep.
Jack thinks about Daniel and how much he misses him.
The Elton John songs have now stopped playing and the lights
and the computers have returned back to normal.
Jack is drifting off to sleep when a hand touches his left shoulder.
His eyes open and he asks, "Daniel?"
"It's me, Jack. I'm back."
Daniel looks over at a sleeping Kris on the couch.
"Friend of yours?" Jack asks.
"Yes, you can say that."
"Oh." Jack realizes what he means and he says again, "Oh."
"We'll talk later." Daniel insists.
"Count on it." Jack replies.
Jack looks at Kris, that at Daniel.
"Maybe I should leave."
"No stay." Daniel says closing the door.
