Beep...Beep...Beep

With a loud yawn and stretch, Levy reached over and slammed the top of her alarm. "Why did I sign up for such and early class!" She continued to stretch and squirm in her bed, dreading leaving the warmth. "Levy! You're going to be late if you don't get up now!" Levy whined and placed a pillow over her head as Lucy entered the room. "You shouldn't sign up for early classes if you're going to be up all hours of the night reading ya' know?" Lucy proceeded to pull away the pillow, gasping at the bags under Levy's eyes. "Jeez Levy! When did you actually go to sleep last night?!"

W-well.. Probably around four. The book was so good! I couldn't just put it down!"

Oh Levy, tsk tsk. Are you going to skip out of class again today too?" With a shake of her head Lucy started to walk away. "Wait!" Levy shouted, "Did you make any breakfast?"

Rushing to class on an empty stomach, a constant flow of "I'm sorrys" trailed as she bumped into everyone. "Why did I get cursed with being so short! No one ever notices I'm walking here!" A loud slam grabbed everyone's attention as Levy and all of her books fell to the ground. "Watch where you're going, Shrimp!" Levy huffed and puffed up her cheeks before she looked up at the intimidating man before her. "Why don't YOU watch where YOU'RE going King Kong" With that she scrambled to pick up her pile of books and papers. "Who're you calling King Kong midget?" He grabbed the back of her shirt and picked her up like a helpless kitten. "P-Put me down!"

"I ain't gonna do that unless you apologize for running into me Runt" Levy continued to squirm and whine. She looked up at him. "He's kind of hot..." Blushing profusely she stuttered "I-I'm sorry!" With a grunt he dropped her to the ground and walked away. "What's his problem?!" She grabbed her pile and headed to class, exhausted and embarrassed. Levy plopped down in her desk and rubbed her temples. "Who was that guy anyways? I don't think I've ever seen him on campus... and those piercings...I definitely would have recognized him."

Lucy had made plans with Natsu, so for tonight Levy was stuck walking back to the dorm on her own. It honestly creeped her out. Walking alone in the dark was never fun "What if something or someone comes after me?" Just then she heard a clopping noise, and turned to see what it was. "W-wha..!?" Before she could say anything else she was run into by a goat and chicken. Once again she found herself on the ground, books and papers scattered everywhere. "Just my luck!" Levy yelled as she started picking up her things. "Why me?! Why do I have to be so small!"

"Gihihihi..."

"W-what was that?"

"Do you always get pushed around so easily, Shrimp?" Levy looked up to see him, the man with the piercings. She stared up at him, bushing as she noticed his muscular arms and long, obsidian hair.

"Y-you again! Oh, what do you want?"

"I don't want anything. Do you need help?"

"I guess..." She focused again on picking up her fallen things, putting her books and papers in separate piles. Levy shyly snuck glances at him from the corner of her eye. "He really is good looking.."

"What are you staring at?" With a eep Levy grabbed her things. "N-nothing! I should go."

"You want me to walk ya?"

"N-no, that's okay!"

"What if the farm animals come back? Gihihi" She puffed up her cheeks at his odd laugh.

"Just let me take ya, Shrimp."

"Fine..."

It'd been almost two weeks and Levy still hadn't seen the man with the piercings again. Just then Levy noticed a hand waving in front of her face. "Hellooo! Levy! What are you thinking about? You've been acting strange for weeks!"

"S-sorry Lucy.. Do you remember that guy I told you about?"

"The one with all the piercings?" Lucy gave her a skeptical look.

"Don't look at me like that! I can't stop thinking about him.."

"Well I'll ask Natsu, you know he knows everyone."

"Good idea! I don't know what I would do without you." Levy watched as Lucy immediately grabbed her phone and started sending a message to Natsu. "I feel like a stalker.. What am I doing? I haven't even been able to focus on a book in weeks.." Again Levy was pulled out of her thought by Lucy's voice. "Natsu says his name is Gajeel." She pauses and looks back down at her phone as it pings again. "Natsu also says he's a huge jerk. Are you sure you want to pursue this guy Levy"

"P-pursue?!" Levy threw her arms up in defence "I'm just curious about who he is and why I never noticed him until now!" Lucy scoffed.

"It's probably because of that romance novel I let you borrow." Lucy giggled. "Oh Levy! You're finally interested in... LOVE."

"I-it's not like I love this guy! I don't even know him!"

"But you like him, don't you?" Levy had to think for a moment. She thought about his face, even with the piercings he was very attractive. His red eyes, his long hair, his big muscly arms...

"Levy! You're practically drooling! Just wait in the hall where you met him the first time, he's bound to show up."

"Another great idea! Thanks Lucy!" So that's what she decided to do, wait.
