I do not own Bella, Charlie, or n e one else who may appear in this story. The great authoress, Stephenie Meyer, does. I also do not own the song Hello by Evenescence. If I did then I wouldn't say I didn't XD.
On with the ffic!
All that's left of yesterday
She walks in a daze. It's like she's barely even living. Everyonce in a while someone comes up to her and listens to her breathing, just to make sure she is.
Playground school bell rings - again
She does the same thing every day. School, home, eat, sleep. School, home, eat, sleep. School, home, eat, sleep. It never ends.
Rain clouds come to play again
Charlie stared at his daughter sitting across from him at the dinner table. She slowly ate her soup, her eyes clouded. She was a zombie, and he knew it.
Has no one told you she's not breathing?
It's like she wasn't even there. She was just a figment of his imagination.
Hello, I'm your mind giving you someone to talk to
Hello
Bella tried to make it through each day, just a little at a time. She never knew what was going on, she was just an apperition passing through.
If I smile and don't - believe
It was as if nothing were real any more. Ever since Edward left all she was was a shell of what she use to be, and the life she had once was just a halucination.
Soon I know I'll wake from this dream
Charlie slammed his hand down on the table.
"BELLA! WAKE UP!" he yelled. He couldn't stand it any more. His daughter was a ghost, just walking through life, and he couldn't stand it any more. She just stared at him with her dazed eyes, then she went up to her room.
Don't try to fix me I'm not broken
She truely wasn't living. Something else was...
Hello, I'm the lie living for you so you can hide
Don't cry
But she did. She wasn't herself. She wasn't anyone. She was real, everything was real.
Suddenly I know I'm not sleeping
The next morning, she got dressed and went off to school, as usual. But this time, it was different. She paid attention. She knew what was going on. She was living.
Hello, I'm still here
All that's left of yesterday
Even if her heart was gone, her body was here. Her soul was here. She was alive and she was going to act it. She finally woke up.
