Christmas to Remember
It was a cold night in Karakura; the snow was falling and the wind was blowing. Everyone was inside for it was Christmas night and everyone was eating Christmas dinner. All but one.
Grimmjow Jeagerjaques was bundled warmly and trudging through the snow, nose and throat sore from the cold air, and alone. Grimmjow had a fight with his father again about his mother and his father kicked him out to fend for himself for the night. It was one of those times where Grimmjow wished he had died with his mother.
"Hm? Yo Grimmjow!"
Grimmjow stopped in surprise and then turned towards the voice. Standing in the doorway of his house was Ichigo Kurosaki, his twin brother Hichigo, and their twin sisters Yuzu and Karin. Ichigo was his rival in about everything.
"Uh- Yeah?" Grimmjow asked uncertainly.
"Why don't you come in? Join us for dinner," Ichigo said, gesturing inside with his thumb.
"But- Why?" Grimmjow asked in surprise.
"Don't question him," Karin said, sneering lightly.
"Just come on," Yuzu finished and grasped his hand, pulling Grimmjow towards the house.
Grimmjow kept silent as the Kurosaki kids pulled him inside and the younger twins helped him out of his jacket and scarf. Suddenly, Isshin Kurosaki poked his head in with Kisuke Urahara, Isshin mixing something while wearing a frilly pink apron.
"We got another one Pa," Hichigo said with a slight smirk.
"Another one?" Grimmjow muttered in wonder as he walked into the living room.
Grimmjow stifled a 'whoa'. Inside the living room were many, including Orihime, Chad, Uryuu, Jinta, and Ururu, Rukia, and Byakuya with his boyfriend Renji. There were also Tensei, and Kenpachi and Yachiru, and married couple Jushiro and Shunsui with their son, Toshiro. The Kurosaki's really went big with their Christmas dinner.
"Take a seat, dinner will be ready soon," Urahara said.
Grimmjow looked at everyone, (almost) all smiling at him warmly, and then he smiled himself, truly happy for once. Grimmjow could tell, this was definitely a Christmas to remember.
