Suigetsu and Karin being the perfect not-meant-to-be pairing, and the fact that I killed Sui-sui in 'One Hundred Years From Now' and stuff. It's kinda related to 'One Hundred Years From Now' but not really so well. Anyway.

Here it come, I don't own anything except my hair (they, sadly, are not featured in the fic) and blablabla. And my English is still no good.

Devotion

It was over. He was in semi-jelly state and he was choking blood. Even with all the experiment she had performed on him she never had saw blood coming for him and she had try hard. She had carefully took him away from the battle, just after receiving a 'go' look from Sasuke, and had lay him down in the green grass, down the hill.

"Did you really had to do that!?" She hated him, she wasn't going to cry.

He chocked some more blood before answering "What? You would have preferred Sasuke to die in my place?"

"You are an idiot! That wouldn't have killed him!" If he had taken the blow, he would be in a bad state, ever worse than Suigetsu was. But she could have healed him. There's nothing she could do for Suigetsu.

Juugo screamed in rage and hurt from the battlefield, some birds near took flight, probably frighten by the scream. The sound of the thousand birds coming from Sasuke's chidori soon followed. The enemies screamed together with Sasuke.

"Go watch over them, there's nothing to do for me. If you let them die, I'll kill you." His voice was so weak, she was barely earring it and her face was inch away from his.

Karin stood up and began to walk away. She turned one last time and looked at him, she doubted she would ever see him again.

"I hate you." She really did at that moment, more than she never had, through for a different reason.

"I used to do that too."

When she came back with Juugo and Sasuke, there was nothing left of Suigetsu. At least, for them, he was a hero now – again.

Damn it, it's short.
