A/N: I have no idea when this is set, but Rogue has full control over her powers! :)

It's also the 25th for me so merry Christmas to those of you who celebrate it!

"Come on, Logan, you can put the angel on the tree!"

If it was anyone other than Rogue then he probably would have snapped. He still stayed to the side of the room with his arms folded over his chest. The mansion had been hit hard with Christmas fever and Logan wasn't sure he liked it. The whole place was decorated from top to bottom, now they were finishing it off by doing the Christmas tree.

As the others finished putting the last few baubles on the tree Rogue turned around with the angel in hand. She held it up so Logan could see it and smiled. He shook his head at her. He would eat their food, but he was not in the mood to celebrate Christmas. Suddenly her eyes got really big and Logan groaned internally as she pouted.

"Fine, but I'm not putting the angel on top," he said as he pushed forward and headed towards the other side of the room where the tree was.

Someone (Scott possibly) maybe a remark about him being wrapped around Rogue's finger but Logan ignored it. Instead he focused on Rogue who still held the angel up. He stopped in front of her and twirled her round so her back was to him. He the grabbed hold of her and lifted her up then perched her on his shoulder. One hand still held the angel while her free hand held on to the top of Logan's head.

"I told you I wasn't putting it on," Logan called up to her.

"You better not drop me," Rogue warned.

Logan chuckled softly to himself as he stepped closer to the tree. He held onto Rogue tight with one arm as she leaned forward ever so slightly to place the angel on top of the tree. When it was sturdy Logan took a step back. For a moment they all admired the handy work.

"Time to try the lights!" Jean announced.

Logan took a step back and helped Rogue down off of his shoulder. The pair of them stepped back further from the tree as the lights in the room were put out. When everyone was ready Jean went over to the switch and after a short countdown turned on all of the Christmas tree lights.

Everybody clapped and made comments as the room lit up. The lights were all different colours and twinkled. Rogue turned to Logan and threw her arms around him in a hug. He returned her hug but before he could do so properly she pulled away again.

"Merry Christmas, Logan."

He went to respond, but she leaned in and kissed him. This time he wrapped his arms around her and pulled her in close so that she couldn't pull away this time. Rogue smiled into the kiss, making the most of her favourite Christmas present.
