This is my first time writing in English so don't be too hard on me, any spelling or grammatical mistakes I'd love you to tell me in a review, help me evolve!!!

Guardian Angels

I sit and wait

Does an angel contemplate my fate?

And do they know

The places were we go

When we're gray and old?

'Cause I've been told

That salvation

Lets her wings unfold

So when I'm lying in my bed

Thoughts running through my head

And I feel the love is dead

I'm loving angels instead

Guardian angels, that idea had been pestering her thoughts lately.

On a recent case, they came across a very… interesting witness, a 67 year old woman who was walking down the crime scene's street a few minutes before the murder. She said something… someone was telling her to hurry, she felt like someone was pushing away her from that place, she said it was her guardian angel.

Brennan had wanted to scoff at her, pointing out that it was pure fear and self-preservation instinct that made her hurry down a lonely street at 1:34 a.m., but Booth had told her it was rude to mock other people's beliefs, so she remained quiet; somehow, not being able to express her scientific explanation made her seriously think about it.

What if guardian angels were real? Well, if they were – and she's not accepting it – real, she must have a very lazy one. Maybe she didn't even have one, maybe it was

Removed when she stopped believing in them, maybe they were like the fairies, you had to believe in them. Maybe she didn't have one because she didn't need to be saved. She could save herself and someone up there realized this and decided to give it to someone who needed it. Yeah, she liked that answer.

But then she remembered all the times she had needed saving, and her oh-so-called angel wasn't there, like that time she was kidnapped by Kenton, he took her to an abandoned warehouse, tied her hands and feet and was about to shoot her. Did the angel save her? No. So, who saved her then? She remembered Booth coming in out of nowhere, so injured he could barely walk, but he was there to save her…

The gravedigger: Booth

Pam Nunan: Booth

Serial Killers: Booth

Bad Dates: Booth

Awkward Situations: Booth

Angela's shopping trips: Booth

Herself: Booth…

She was so busy listing up all the times she was rescued that she didn't stop walking as they reached the corner of the street, she felt two very familiar arms around her waist, pulling her away from another trip to the hospital.

-"Jeez, Bones, you should pay attention when you're walking, you're dangerous in your thinking state"

Yet another one, Cars: Booth

His arms stayed around her just a little bit longer than necessary, and as he reluctantly let her go, she decided she didn't believe in guardian angels, the concept of an invisible entity following you everywhere and mystically saving your life seemed pretty stupid (and a little creepy).

But she did believe in Booth, a ridiculously sweet and caring man who saved her life everyday in so many ways, from forcing her to eat, to taking a bullet for her. She believed in him because he had proved her more times than she could count, that she didn't need a guardian angel, not because she didn't need saving, but because she already had him.

She had Booth, and he was a lot better than any creepy and stupid invisible entity.

And through it all

He offers me protection

A lot of love and affection

Whether I'm right or wrong

Angels - Robbie Williams

Before anyone says it, yes I did change the lyrics, but it was just a HE instead of a SHE, no big deal I think. I hope you liked it!!

p.s. I love reviews (wink, wink)
