" Unconscious "
One winter afternoon, Rachel & Conan are walking down the street & Rachel caught a glimpse of a figure or person in the alley, laying in the snow. Rachel finally stopped, Conan walks a little farther before noticing that Rachel was behind him; before Conan could say something, Rachel ran into the alley. Conan ran right after her, but stopped right before he could go in the alley; he found Rachel lying in the cold, wet snow unconscious. " Rachel! ", Conan screamed aloud. Conan thinking about no one else or nothing else, but Rachel; he suddenly started running towards Rachel, paying no attention to the chemical in the frosty air. When he finally smelt what he was breathing, he passed out. When he finally woke up he was in an ambulance; before he could say, " What's going on, where am I? ", he passed out again.
This time he awoke with great awareness of where he was. A nurse walked by the door of Conan's room he was in, and with great surprise noticed that Conan was awake. The nurse walked in the door and said, " I thought you would never wake up! ", in a sarcastic way. " Never say never! ", Conan said jokingly. Then they both laughed to think it was funny. Conan then asked the nurse if they found two other people where he was laying, in the alley; the nurse finally answered Conan & replied no. She said, " They only found you & one female 17yr. old girl, but, she is still asleep & is on an oxygen tank." Conan then asked, " Can I go see the 17 yr. old girl? ", waiting for an answer, Conan sat up on the bed. The nurse was silent for a while, then she said, " Well, I guess you can just for a minute or two, but, you'll have to be in a wheelchair because you're still to weak to walk from the chemical you breathed in. " " Ok! ", Conan said in an instant. The nurse said as she walked out of the room, " I'll go get a wheelchair for you now; but you better stay here while I go get it, ok? " " Alright., " Conan said while sitting on the edge of his bed.
Conan waits & waits, finally he hears something. The nurse comes in the room with a wheelchair, stops & asks, " Do you want any help getting in the wheelchair? " " Umm...I guess. ", Conan says hesitating a little. The nurse picked up Conan & then gently placed him in the wheelchair. " I'll wheel you down to the room, if that is ok, " said the nurse. " It's ok by me, " said Conan in an excited voice. As they were going out of the room, they turned to the left & went down the hall; as Conan was sitting he thought to himself, " I wonder is Rachel in that room? ", " What's going to happen to her? ", " Is she ok? ", & " Is she going to die? "; they suddenly stopped at a closed door; the nurse opened the door, put the doorstop under the door & wheeled him in next to the person laying in bed. " I'm going to leave now, do you want me to shut the door? ", said the nurse. " Sure, " Conan said quietly not intending to wake the girl up.
The nurse quickly but, gently closed the door behind her. Conan looked at the pale 17 yr. old, lying in bed; he was surprised at what he saw. The young girl opened her eyes, she looked at Conan as if to say, " I know who you are; Jimmy Kudo. " Conan was shocked by the expression on the young girl's face, for he knew what it meant; his cover was blown.
