Well, this is a new one. I'm writing for Lilo & Stitch when it was made in 2002. Interesting. Anyway, this is set during the first movie, when she sees "a falling star" and prays for an angel. Well, she sorta got one . . . oh, and FF really sucks sometimes because it gets rid of underlines and stuff like that, so it SCREWS THINGS UP. Gods. XP Whatever . . . fingers crossed that this works!
She was so a/l/o/n/e
[so, so alone]
Her "friends" thought she was weird
Odd
A f.r.e.a.k
She keeps trying to just play with them
{something like dolls, or practicing hula, or just talking, something}
But they always r-e-j-e-c-t her
She's so upset
Ever since her parents . . .
She's been so [l]o[n]e[l]y
Even with Nani around, it just wasn't the same
So when she sees that falling star . . .
The one she saw with Nani . . .
[get out, it's mine, I called it!]
She prayed for an a+n+g+e+l
{the best one they have}
And the next day . . .
Nani allowed her to get a dog
(okay, so, maybe not what she had in mind, but a dog would be cool too)
And along came him
He looked far from "a~n~g~e~l~i~c"
[very far from it, really]
But maybe this was a hidden a+n+g+e+l
~in disguise~
So she picked him
And things were . . . a bit bad, at first
He wouldn't listen
He would push her, and destroy things
He was bad
But after a while, when he was calmer and nicer and less destructive . . .
{he had ran out of stuff to destroy}
She was starting to think that he was her a+n+g+e+l again
A+n+g+e+l+s can be bad
Why not? Just a little . . .
And then everything got r/u/i/n/e/d (all over again)
She was k-i-d-n-a-p-p-e-d with him
[and he escaped so she was alone again]
Instead of an a+n+g+e+l . . .
She gets an alien who r/u/i/n/e/d everything
{she didn't find out until later, but he was one—made for d:e:s:t:r:u:c:t:i:o:n, and e~v~i~l}
Until he saved her
{"You came back." "Nobody gets left behind."}
And after everything with the Big Dummy . . .
When S|t|i|t|c|h said she was his family . . .
That's when she knew
And that's when she thought,
You're the best a+n+g+e+l ever, Stitch.
This is a bit different from my other one-shots I've done this way, because I've never done one for Lilo & Stitch until now, so I hope I did well! I dunno if I'll write more for this fandom, but who knows! We'll see! PEACE~
