A/N: Hi y'all. This is Penny's Song sung by my OC Kat to her teammate Green. They're both part of a top secret branch of the military. She was a part of the team when she was 10-13, when she was stabbed. They thought she was dead, and she thought they abandoned her. This takes place after they meet again, and she's hanging out with Green, who's depressed for some reason. She has a horrid life, which you can find out about on deviantart.
I made Green look at me, and started to sing. "Here's a story of a girl Who grew up lost and lonely Thinking love was fairy tale And trouble was made only for me. Even in the darkness every color can be found," i paused a bit and smiled at the irony of that line, "And every day of rain brings Water flowing To things growing in the ground." I walked over to the window and looked out at the base. "Grief replaced with pity For a city barely coping Dreams are easy to achieve If hope is all I'm hoping to be." I turned back to watch him walk towards me, and looked at him seriously, "Any time you're hurt There's one who has it worse around And every drop of rain will keep you growing Seeds you're sowing in the ground So keep your head up, Billy-buddy." I fake punched his chin, making him smile. "It could always be worse."
"It could also always be better." He grumbled.
"Hey, were you practically abandoned by your parents? Or near-fatally stabbed when you were thirteen?"
"No, but..."
"Then relax dude. It could always be worse." I grinned. "You could have to live with Pink and Cerulean."
He groaned at the thought.
