"What job do you guys want to do? The job choosing ceremony is tomorrow and I still can't decide what I want to do for the rest of my life." Tris asks Christina and Will.
"Why don't you go talk to Max about it, he can tell you what jobs you can do." Christina replies.
"Max and some of the leaders are away at Amity for the day. The only one left behind is Eric; he's a relatively new leader, he can talk to you about it." Will replies, he must see the horror on her face at the idea of having a one-on-one chat with Eric: the most cold hearted and intimidating out of all the Dauntless leaders.
"Speak to Eric alone? I don't think so." Tris replies.
"You're going to have to but if it helps Christina and I will come with you and tell him that we want to talk to him about jobs as well." Will says while nudging Christina's arm. She eventually gets the hint.
"Yeah we will come with you so you don't have to talk to him alone." She says half-heartedly.
"You guys are the best. Thank you. We should probably go now if we want to catch him in his office, it's getting late."
Three slowly made their way through the compound to Eric's office. The door was slight open and there was light coming through the small gap.
"Should I knock?" Tris asks her friends.
"I don't see why. It's not like Eric can make us factionless now, we've passed initiation." Christina replies.
"You're right." Tris replies and pushes the door open and walking into the room with her friends behind her. "Eric, can I ha- OMG!" Tris yells the last bit.
"OH MY FUCKING GOD!" Will and Christina shout in unison.
Trapped against the wall is Eric with Four's tongue down his throat. Eric's arms are pinned against the wall by Fours hands and the two are snogging like their lives depended on it. They break apart with swollen lips and are both panting. They look at the three 16 year olds in shock and embarrassment.
"What are you doing in here?" Eric says in his usual intimidating, deep voice but its effect is lost on the three new members by his swollen lips and slightly messed up blonde hair.
"We, um, we came to ask you about the jobs we could choose." Tris say's, finally finding her voice.
"Why didn't you knock?" he asks trying to fix his hair.
"The door was already open so we just assumed we could come in." Will said. Eric turned to Four:
"Really? You jump me and decide not to close the door?" He asks with a slightly teasing voice.
"I had other things on my mind-" Four started to reply.
"I bet you did." Eric said, definitely teasing now.
"I didn't expect anyone to come looking for you at this time in the evening. Especially these three."
The two just looked at each other, both still close enough that they were touching, and they were starting to lean in again.
"I'm sorry but this doesn't make any sense. You two hate each other. You are complete opposites. You are kind of sadistic and you are nice. What the hell happened?" Tris practically yells.
"We prefer that initiates don't know about us. So until you are full members we argue and pretend to hate each other. It's kind of a turn on." Eric says in a calm voice, leaning against the front of his desk, as if it is completely normal.
"I thought so too." Four replies and moves in-between Eric's legs and start snogging him senseless, all over again.
"I think that's all we are going to get today." Christina says, speaking for the first time since she entered the room.
The three 16 year olds left the room as the two men got more and more into it and closed the door behind them. They paused at the doorway.
"I am never going to get rid of that image of Eric being pinned against the wall by Four with their tongues down each other's throats." Tris said finally.
"Neither will I." Will and Christina replied and shuddered.
