A strange incident involving Harry's Phoenix feather wand made up words three potter children touching the wand and pointing it at their father while he was renewing the wards with the elder wand sent Harry back in time to his first year at hogwarts in his eleven year old body.
When this happened Harry's body and magic absorbed the elder wand giving Harry the ability of wordless, wandless and gestureless magic, the process was so excruciatingly painful Harry passed out as his body changed to accommodate his new abilities and de-aged 19years.
When Harry awoke he was in the cupboard under the stairs 4 privet drive little whinging Surrey, fear and shock overwhelmed Harry's senses then realisation, pain sorrow anguish and anger he was eleven again stuck at the dursleys alone, no kids, no house and worst of all voldemort was or still is alive (well sort of).
First he had to go to gringotts then the ministry then dumbledore, whilst in diagon alley Harry purchased form fitting new clothes robes and underwear, a new 9 compartment trunk that was warded to accept only his magical signature to open it, all new and some old and even rare potions ingredients, all books he wanted needed and looked interesting, and the newest broom the Thunderbolt made by the fire bolt company.
Harry arrived at platform nine and three quarters at 9 am completely bypassing mrs weasley.
Arriving at hogwarts Harry slips off unnoticed to the ROR to pick up the horcrux in there and store it in his shrunken trunk then return to the rest of the first years for his sorting.
Potter, Harry the professor called Harry came forward sat on the stool and waited the hat was lowered " mr potter would you mind lowering your shields" "I suppose I should Adonexus" lowering his shields Adonexus viewed all of Harry's memories to say the hat was shocked would be a gross understatement, " you have suffered greatly but wisely used your knowledge to affect the future, I'm curious is gryffindore really for you? Maybe ravenclaw or merlin. What's merlin you say, well it's the house when you suit all four and believe me lord of hogwarts heir to the four, you do.
MERLIN shouted Adonexus with a huge grin.
Shock was written across the faces of the staff and students
There hadn't been a Merlin house in about 300 years even then it only had 6 members
