Hello! Fatewarrior here! I haven't seen many crossovers between Percy Jackson and Infernal Devices, so here it is!
(I have not read the Mortal Instuments series, so that will not be included in this fanfic)
Prologue
Kia limped through the alley. Something was chasing her, something powerful, and she didn't want to find out what it was. She heard a snarl from behind her, and she slowly turned around, her knives ready. When Kia saw her attacker, she didn't know what to do. It didn't look like any Greek monster. But that didn't bother her. What did was the three foot long claws that were practically dripping with poison.
As the unknown thing advanced, Kia slowly backed up. Her only chance was to shadow travel, as the monster was at least the size of a large car. She couldn't beat something like that with two long daggers and multiple throwing knives. But Kia needed time to concentrate. So, she did the natural thing. She threw her knives.
It was a mistake. The knives barely even infuriated the thing. As she turned and ran, Kia felt a searing pain in her back, and instantly knew that it had gotten her. She quickly veered around a corner, only to run into another claw. Kia tried to summon something, anything from the dead, but was too weak. The world had started spinning, and Kia knew she didn't have much time.
As the monsters advanced, she closed her eyes and dissolved into shadow. A door appeared in front of her, and, barely awake, Kia collapsed against it. She could only turn her daggers back into bracelets before the world dissolved into darkness.
