I have no idea where I'm going with this story, or if I'll even finish it. I have no knowledge in surfboarding, besides the fact, that it's popular in any state that is beside the ocean, and that it's common for early risers, who have interest in it, so while working on this story, I will be Googling helpful surfboarding tips.

[Lets Go Surfing]

-Prologue-

You know how every surfboarding movie has that back story? How the girl character always has to have the sob story line for the part, and right before you find out if they win or not, the famous "injury" or near death experience happens. What if I said, I was close to being one of those girls, you probably wouldn't believe me. Hell, I wouldn't believe me either. Anyways, I'm going to try to tell you everything.

[LGS]

Five fifty one in the morning, and as I approach the local and most common surfing spot in the area, I found it's already crowded. The early surf goers had already scouted it, and took their run at it. Oh well, late to the party, might as well enjoy while I could. In a bit, there wouldn't be anything left. I hop out of the jeep, and grab my board, and head towards the beach.

"You lucked out, there wasn't much of a swell this morning, besides, you missed the tide," a local boy, or I had assumed a local boy tells me.

"I can't believe I missed it. I have the times all memorized," I tell him, as I meet his blue eyes, and notice his sandy ash-blonde hair. I'm guessing the stands about six feet even, and has a buff body. He has a tattoo on his upper left arm, which, states that 'there is a fine line between fate and coincidence'. Then I turn my attention back to him.

"So, do you surf?" I ask him, as abandon the idea of surfing until tomorrow, since, I mostly hated surfing at night, it was more than likely to be turned into a life or death situation, in which, was something I was against doing.

"Nah, I just come out for the photography. Well, usually anyways," he tells me, and then smiles. "I'm Christopher, but you can call me Kress," he tells me, as he meets my eyes, and then looks back at the water, as some of the other surfers were coming in, and headed back to their vehicles to head to their life outside of surfboarding.

"I'm Kitty," I tell him, as I get ready to head back to my jeep, so I could head to my life as being a front desk worker at the local five star hotel. I hated it, but hell, it was a job, and it was most likely to get me money so I could make it to the ISA Championships, or at least try. I wasn't going to admit that though, it was my secret, and I planned to keep it that way.

"That's a unique name. Not very many people would name someone Kitty," Kress tells me, as he decides to put his camera away, and the sun becomes in full peaks of the day, which, was usually a sign that I would have to get to work. I play with my hair some more, and then pull it into a ponytail, though, I don't have an elastic.

"Well thanks, anyways, it was nice meeting you," I tell him, as I head back towards the jeep, and head in the direction of the hotel. Something told me, that this wouldn't be the first and the last time that I would see Kress. I just hadn't had a clue, as to what was telling me this.

A/N: This chapter was pretty much just to test the waters. If anyone does read, please, understand, I mostly write short chapters, and not very lengthy ones. Also, please, not hate reviews, though, I do like reviews that state what I could have done better or what you didn't like about the chapter. It's the only way I see that I will become a better writer.
