Wrote this on a whim very late one night. A series of sentences about one of the crackier of my pairings - Roxith. May expand some of them into drabbles someday. I dunno.

Disclaimer: I don't own Final Fantasy or Kingdom Hearts or any of these entirely innocent characters. I just use them in my experiments. :)

She was a baby-faced, shy girl doing laundry at midnight.

He was a sad-eyed beautiful boy spinning in the rain.

It was magic, it was momentous and mysterious and maybe it was a mistake.

It was sweet and fleeting and perfect.

It was painful and broken and flawed.

It was jade and sapphire eyes meeting across a crowded, empty, misty-filled street.

It was coffee and far too many tea cakes at a cafe no one ever visited.

It was the slightest touch of lily-white fingertips against golden skin.

It was a sweet kiss under a pointless umbrella.

It was a long embrace at a closed bus stop.

It was a soft sigh in the depths of a pitch-black night.

It was a touch – a glance – a kiss – a sigh – a sob – a whimper – a giggle – a scream.

It was sunshine and earth.

It was light and shadow.

It was sunrise and dusk.

It was all they ever dreamed of.

It was the thing that haunted their nightmares.

It was mismatched socks when they were both in a hurry.

It was salt instead of sugar in the chocolate chip cookies.

It was all the James Bond movies in a row.

It was bruises on her shoulders.

It was cuts on his wrists.

It was his touch and her kiss that soothed the pain away.

It was open fields and it was crowded city streets.

It was something they could never have described in words.

It was something only expressed in the way they looked at each other.

It was three blissful weeks in June, three weeks nobody ever knew about, but them.

It was a secret from her man.

It was a secret from his girl.

It was a secret from the whole world.

It was everything cliched.

It was everything new.

It was everything they wanted.

It was everything they dreaded.

It was a flower girl and a shadow boy.

It was happiness and sorrow.

It was joy and grief.

It was innocence and jadedness.

It was wonder and majesty and darkness and hatred.

It was old and familiar.

It was so new and exciting and strange and scary.

It was so, so, so wrong and so, so, so bad.

It felt so right and so good.

It was Aerith.

It was Roxas.

And it was love.

And then it was her and Cloud and he disappeared, and she never saw him again and she made herself forget, but when she fingered Cloud's blond hair and looked into his pale blue eyes, she couldn't help wishing they were different.

And, somewhere deep inside a hero who loved a girl on an island, he looked through another's eyes at auburn and violet and Sora felt something was wrong.

And, until the day they both died, she had to bite back his name when Cloud kissed her, and Sora woke with her name on his lips.

It was Aerith and it was Roxas and it was love.

And that was all.

Yeah, I think they're adorable...sorry if I scarred anyone for life.
