That's it. I'm going to kill him. I am not even kidding this time. Where is he?!
"SOUL!" I scream throughout my mansion, determined to find and apprehend the criminal of this horrendous act. I hear steps through the halls, and a lanky figure saunters its way into my view.
"What is it this time Kid?" Soul asks, obviously already bored with the matter at hand.
"I was sitting in my living room, quietly watching television perfectly content I might add, when I found some...litter on my floor. Do you know what this litter is?" Soul rolls his eyes at me, further increasing my anger.
"A pop can." He answers.
"That's right. And I think we know who left the can there Soul."
"Honestly Kid, I wasn't finished drinking it. I set it down for ten seconds while I went to get my phone from your room. I was going to come right back and finish it-"
"Soul we have tables and coasters for a reason! You're always leaving things around the house, and then Patty knocks it over and creates this huge asymmetrical MESS! I'm so done with this, get out! I hate you!" Instead of doing as I instructed, Soul simply gives me his signature toothy smile he uses specifically for situations such as this.
"Come on, you know you don't mean that," he says, walking towards me, "do you really want me to leave? Especially since I had such a big surprise for you." I know what he's doing. He's trying to get off easy by distracting me. Well I'm not having it.
"No Soul, that isn't working this time. You have to learn there are certain rules that need to be followed." I say, in an exasperated tone that almost begs him to for once listen to me.
"Okay, okay." Grabbing the can from my hand, he walks back to the living room and sets it on a coaster. "There, is that better?"
"Yes. Quite a bit better. Thank you." I mumble curtly before taking a place on the couch.
"Whoa wait, don't I get rewarded for good behavior? He demands plopping into my lap, gaining a surprised 'oomph' from me.
"Kid?"
"Yes."
"Yes what? Yes what is it, or yes I desverve a reward?"
"The latter."
"Then give it to me." I look into his eyes before giving him a peck on the cheek.
"There."
"Oh come on, that's it?" This time he's the one that sounds like he's begging.
"Well, I suppose how much more you get depends." I say, keeping my eyes focused on the television screen, struggling to keep a straight face though I'm about to burst out laughing.
"Depends on what?" He inquires, leaning forward and placing himself directly in my line of sight so I have no choice but to look him in the face.
"On how good you are."
"And if I'm bad? What will you do to me then?" He asks, a mischevious glint in his eye. This time I do laugh, and shove him off of me playfully.
"Get off me you pervert."
