Staring down at the sea, at the sand

Staring down at the sea, at the sand. Sea breeze, and clouds too.

Breathe. No other presence here.

Now a dark place, falling in then landing. It goes on forever.

Someone's here. Who is it?

A fight, a dance. Spin, leap, hold. I know this rhythm.

A tight hold. A gasp.

Close. Tremble. A kiss.

Falling again, faster than slow. Another beach? No. It's fire. I am not burned.

Walking to the tower. Why do I know it? A weight on my chest.

The wind stokes the the fire, rising.

Someone wants to follow to flame.

Breath. A whisper.

Light. Brightness. Blinding.

Open eyes now.

Memory fades.
