Why don't you ask?
6years old Hermione Granger is a very shy girl. She is always by the corner buried in some books that her Granny had given her.
In school, she was top of her class. Lot's of teachers praised her for her brains. But there is something about this young girl that puzzled them. This girl is just too bright for her age, a genius perhaps, but there is still something odd about her…she never ask questions.
One day, her class teacher came to her and asked the question that the staff have been asking for so long.
"Hermione, can I talk to you for a while?" asked her teacher.
"Yes, miss. What is it?" asked Hermione
"In class, you were always the bright one…" smiled the teacher. "You always answer all the questions we ask, but then again I or the other teachers never heard you ask a single question. Why Hermione?"
Hermione was silent for a very long time…then she suddenly burst into tears.
"I'm afraid." she said. "I'm afraid that if I ask questions, you and the others might don't like me any more." sobbed Hermione
"Why won't we like you, Hermione? You're always special to us." smiled the teacher
"No! You only like me because I can answer all your questions!" shouted Hermione
"If I started to ask questions, then it means that I'm not bright enough and everybody won't like me anymore!"
"That's not true, Hermione! We all like you!" said the teacher
Hermione stayed silent and the teacher hugged her and comforted her to not to cry anymore.
"Hermione, not all of us has the answer to everything. Even we adults make mistakes but we improve from our mistakes and learn not to make it happen again. Remember Hermione; never forget that asking for help is not a weakness. It really takes courage to confess them to somebody no matter it is about your fears or problems. So don't you worry to ask questions! Nobody will hate you just because you don't know the answers! So ask and learn things from the questions you want to know."
From that day forward, Hermione Granger was not afraid to ask questions anymore. And just like her teacher taught her, she learned more of the things that is unknown to her after she ask the questions.
