"I actually got accepted! I'm going to college" Simon announces proudly to his three friends.
"Nice one dickhead, when you lot are all of in school still, I'm going to be drowning in pussy" Jay says happy with himself
"Or drowning in debt, because you won't be able to get a job" Will suggests smartly, all he receives is Jay giving him the middle finger.
"You can always work at Asda with me Jay" Neil offers
"No you're alright, I'll be minted one day, I don't need a job"
Simon and Jay were sat in his room playing fifa when Jay turns to his best friend, who he had known most of his life.
"You know Si, you don't have to go to college"
"I want to, it'll be good for me, you should as well Jay, I know you haven't got the best grades but you should be able to get in somewhere" Simon smiles at his friend.
"Only bent people go to college" Jay laughs
"Whatever mate" Simon sighs
They continue to play another match but half way through Jay pauses it and looks at Simon..
"You're going to come back sometimes from college aren't you?"
"I don't think so, I was thinking of moving up there, I'll be down for Christmas and stuff but not much"
"Oh right" Jay says trying to hide the disappointment. As much as he hated to admit it, Simon was and always had been his best friend, along with Neil, so it would be weird not to have him around, they had always been so close.
"Why? Are you going to miss me?" Simon teases his friend, poking him in the side
"No you knob, I just wanted to know if I could fuck Carly or if you were going to be here" Jay answers quickly.
"She'd never get with you mate"
"Who wouldn't want a bit of this?"
"Most respectable girls"
"Well your mum didn't mind"
"My mum prefers small portions" Simon grins at his friend who smirks back.
"I will miss you though Simon, you're still a twat, but I'll miss seeing you be a twat"
"I'll miss all the bullshit you come up with as well Jay"
The two friends smile at each other before carrying on with their game and insulting each other.
