"I do love you, but...", Inhuman golden eyes stared into violet,"But what?", the violet-eyed one asked, the spring breeze ruffling his unruly violet strands.
"They Need Not Know. Will you not tell them?", He asked, cat-like eyes pleading, a myriad of emotions swimming in their depths.
He could get lost in that gaze, as he had on their previous secret rendevous. "Of course," He whispered, and pulled the blonde closer and sealing the agreement with a sweet chaste kiss.

Dark was bored, Daisuke had been asleep, so he knew nothing of the venture. The theif had been wandering the dimly streetlight-lit road for sometime when he felt a familiar presence up ahead.
Leaning over the railing overlooking the sea, stood the ice demon that he had come to hate after pointless years of fueding.
But this night he seemed different, perhaps it was the attire,well-worn blue jeans and a white button-down shirt that was slightly open at the top, Or the fact that he had turned to face him, with a look of utter...
Defeat?
When the demon stepped closer to him, he had become alittle more aware, but had done nothing to stop him, he seemed...lost.
"Dark,",whispered softly, almost like a plea, and then the theif had more than a little bit of a shock when said demon slumped forwards onto him...
He had grabbed him by the shoulder and had gently pushed the limp form away, that was, until their eyes met...
At that moment, Dark knew something had definitely change. The sadistic, insane, homocidal gleam to the icy metallic eyes he had known for so long was gone, replaced by worn and defeated ones, that let everything show.
"Dark," There it was again, that dulcet voice softly uttering his name as though it were a final prayer... "This fighting...it's pointless, I realised, a while ago...that I love you...", and with, the blonde buried himself deeper into the warmth of Darks' shirt.
