Wishing There Was Still an Ocean Between Us
Lord John Murbury at your service
Lord Murbury comes to town and gives Leo and Margaret a headache to say the least. It would have been a much better if Lord John had kept his British mouth shut.

Did he just say what I think he just said? Crazy lunatic, that's my assistant you're talking about. How dare you? Oh, goody he's leaving. I hope he doesn't come back but I know I won't get my wish. Buxom, How dare he call her that?
"Margaret." She walked through the door.
"Yes."
"Get me all the information on the test this morning."
"Okay."
She leaves and now I am back to where I was before. Buxom and I'll be sure to tell her that. What the hell is wrong with me? Why isn't she offended by those remarks? I'm positive she heard them both. She returns a few minutes later and hands me a file folder. "Thank you."
"You're welcome." She replies and walks back to her desk.
Why does Murbury have to be such a smart-ass? Why am I still obsessing over this? Thank you. What the hell was I thinking? Come to think of it what did he mean by that exactly? I'm assuming it was meant in a good way. May be not. She's like a sister to me. So, Why am I acting so possessive? Is that the right word? She's my assistant. She can't be anything more so why is this bothering me so much? Back to work. I have to get back to work.
Leo looked up from his briefing notes a while later and saw Margaret standing in his doorway. "Margaret, What can I do for you?"
"Never mind, I'll leave." She said as she turned around and walked back into her office. Leo heard crying coming from outside his door. He walked over and leaned on the doorframe unsure what to do.
"Margaret, why are you crying?"
"No reason."
Leo walked over and kneeled down next to her. "There has to be a reason. Do you want to talk about it?"
Margaret looked up at him. "Do you think I'm fat?"
"What! No! Come in here." Leo helped Margaret into his office. "Where did you come up with that?"
"Murbury. And I said thank you because⦠I don't even know why."
"Margaret, that's not what he meant. I'm sure he meant that in a good way. He's a smart-ass and sometimes it gets the best of him. You want to know the truth? He made me crazy when he said that."
"Why?"
After talking it through Margaret agreed with Leo. "
I'm sure you're right. He meant it in a good way."
"Because, He made a comment about you that was inappropriate. That just gives me one more reason to join Josh and say I wish there was still an ocean between the two of us."
Margaret smiled. "You're sweet. You know that?"
"I do. Thank you." Leo replied helping her up out of the chair by his desk.
"You're a good girl, Margaret."
"Okay, I'm going back to work now. Thank you for the help."
"Whenever you need it I'll be here."
