Kiss Me
Author's Notes: Some mindless bit of writing, just because I love Jimmy's character. I don't know where this is set. I don't know how the got there.
Disclaimer: I own nothing of the 2005 motion picture King Kong: not its characters, original plot line, et cetera. I own nothing of the original King Kong franchise, either. They are clearly not mine, and I'm not making money out of this.
I own the character 'Laura', who is not inherent in King Kong.

'Jimmy!' I screamed, laughing despite myself.
'Put me down, Jimmy Bennett! Put me down or I'll never kiss you again!'
'Relax, Laura.' he stopped and let me down gently.
The sun shone brightly on the small waves that crashed into the shore. The pebbles were worn nice and smooth; we were both barefoot and it felt good. The weather was being very kind over the week, very different from the gloomy grey sky I was used to seeing.
'Honestly, Jimmy! I'm wearing a dress! Do you want everyone on this beach to see?' I smacked his arm slightly.
He just smiled and hugged me, kissing me on the bridge of my freckled nose. 'There's no one for miles around.' he said, looking at me.
'I- I-- Well, that still doesn't mean I'll allow you to handle me like a sack of potatoes.' I huffed and extracted myself from him. I turned on my heel and crossed my arms over my chest.
'I wasn't handling you like a sack of potatoes...' he hugged me again from behind and tickled me, nuzzling his nose into the crook of my neck. I shrugged him away, because it tickled.
'Stop it! I'm trying to be upset!' I started grinning. Damn Jimmy. Can't ever stay angry at him.
'You shouldn't try to be upset, love. Not while everyone else is trying to be happy.'
'It hurts to smile!'
'Then don't smile.'
'What, then?'
'Just kiss.'
He caught my mouth with his and pulled me closer. His kisses were always nice, soft, and slow. I pulled away hesitantly.
'Won't you ever get tired of kissing me?'
He laughed and held my shoulders at arms' length.
'If ever I do, then I give you permission to slap me as much as you want from dusk to dawn.'
'I have a feeling you're going to regret that some day...'
'I might get tired of just kissing you, though.' he told me, smiling cheekily.
'Jimmy!'
