This is how it went down.
You'll never convince me otherwise.
Leia had never felt her husband Han so angry, betrayed and hurt even though he was standing on the other side of the room. The tears in his narrowed eyes stung, she knew. He raked his trembling hands through his silver hair. She sat on the sofa, too shocked and upset to say or do anything at the moment.
For Luke's part, he stood near their apartment door he'd come in only minutes before. His head was hung low, his Jedi robes were drawn around him as if he were trying to become invisible.
"Where is he now?" Han asked tersely, finally breaking the silence.
"I don't know..." he answered quietly.
"Of course you don't, you sack of shit!" Han hissed.
The disgust in his voice was more than evident. He raced across the room at a much greater speed than a man of 73 should be able to move. Luke did not defend himself and Leia did not try to stop him when he threw a left punch to his jaw and then kneed him in the stomach, dropping his brother-in-law to the floor.
Leia stood on shaky legs and walked to stand beside her husband.
Luke finally looked up. The look in his twin sister's tear filled brown eyes chilled him to the bone, but the pure hatred coming from Han broke him.
"Get out," Han growled. The threat in his voice was unmistakable.
"I..." His lips remained pursed, his mouth open slightly. If he was going to say more, he did not get the chance.
"You tried to murder our son," Leia said. She swallowed hard. "Go. Now."
The weak and broken man slowly got to his feet, keeping one arm around his aching middle, but ignoring the blood trickling from the left corner of his mouth. It was already staining the silver hair in his beard.
"You heard your sister," Han said, clenching his fists. "Just go."
"Please..." Luke gasped.
"GET OUT!" Han yelled, pointing.
Luke stood still and silent.
"Leave our home. Go away," Leia said, looking him in the eyes. The complete loathing he felt made Luke shudder. She opened the door.
He stepped over the threshold. Han shut the door.
They never saw him again.
