"He's pretty good," said a dark figure standing off to the side watching
Beast Boy dominate the competition in a video game competition.
"No," came a female voice.
"What," came the boys voice again, sounding innocent.
"You're not dragging any one else into this," the girl insisted, "Spare him the pain."
"Go back to the clubhouse," the boy said calmly, "I'm going to talk to him."
"But," the girl began to protest.
"Now," the boy said more forcefully.
With a scowl in the boy's direction, the girl disappeared into the alley.

"Dude," Beast Boy said to a small crying boy, "No hard feelings."
The boy walked off and another boy approached him.
The new boy was defiantly not their to play games, he had black curly hair, was wearing a new leather jacket, had snazzy brand new roller blades, and a pair of neon orange cargo pants.
"Hi," Beast Boy said nervously.
"Hey," the boy replied with a much more relaxed demeanor, "My names Jed, what's yours?"
"Beast Boy," he replied.
"Oh," The boy said nodding his head.
There was an awkward silence.
"Wanna hang out," Jed asked.
"Sure," Beast Boy said, smiling.
"Let's go meet the gang," Jed said, pulling on his orange helmet.

Beast Boy felt like he had been walking for hours, especially since he was following a boy who had blades on and could go a lot faster. "Here we are," Jed said brightly.
Beast Boy gasped, he was standing in front of an old garage, there was graffiti scrawled all over, and since it was so dark, only one streetlight illuminated the place. He shuddered nervously and followed Jed inside. When he was inside he saw 5 kids playing poker around a card table.
"Beast Boy," Jed said, "This is the gang, Clark, Otto, Carmen, Elena, and Candy."
Clark simply glared; he had a cigarette hanging out of his shriveled lips and was wearing a leather jacket that was just like Jed's. Except he had a black sleeveless shirt, and a pair of baggy black pants with chains hanging off, his arm was draped possessively around Candy's shoulder. Candy was unusually tall, with pink hair in spikes, and tattoos of snakes all the way up her arm; she had on a gold shirt and silver pants, very tight pants. Otto looked a little like Robin, his hair was like Robin's except it was brown, he was shorter than Robin, but still had the attitude like he owned the place. Carmen sat next to him, she had red hair in a long French braid, and had woven black satin ribbons into it, she had a loose green cami shirt over white jeans and a pair of blades like Jed's except they were forest green. In fact everyone had blades except Jed's were red, Carmen's were green, Clark's were blue, Candy's were pink, Otto's were an off white color, and Elena's were dark purple. Elena was seated away from the rest, she had black (blue streaked) hair trailing halfway down her back, she was wearing a short pink dress, and had a large smile on her face as she looked at Beast Boy, her skin had the lightly tanned, healthy look, that radiated beauty.
"Wow," Jed said, looking at his SOILID GOLD watch, "It's late you better get going, we'll hang out again."
Elena pouted slightly.
"See ya," Beast Boy said heading out the door.
They seem strange, Beast Boy thought, but kind of cool, and Elena's gorgeous.

"He won't even see it coming," Jed said laughing.
Everyone else started laughing, except Elena, who glanced around in horror and hoped, to her disappointment but Beast Boy's safety that he did not return.
