Just Ask
It is one of the great mysteries of life.
How love can make normally sane people do crazy, stupid things.
Standing in the rain for hours just to make sure she's okay.
Spending half my life trying to make her smile.
Joining the soccer team only to impress her,
Though I did grow to like that.
What would I do for her?
What wouldn't I do for her?
Anything…
I'd get her anything.
I'd do anything.
I'd love her forever.
I'd die for her…
And she knows.
She knows that I would do anything for her
If she'd only ask.
Then she asked.
The only thing in the world she'd ever asked me for
And the only thing in the world I ever wanted to hear.
"Just say I love you."
"I love you Sora Takenouchi."
"And I love you, Taichi Kamiya."
