Hi. I'm really sorry I haven't posted in a while. I was overwhelmed with finals and other stuff. I hope you forgive me. I'll try to post more often now that it's summer vacation. Enjoy! (or try to)

"And from this day on, everyone can call Camp Half-Blood their home!" Chiron declared.

The campers cheered. Camp used to be just a protective place for them to stay, but now it was a home.

Percy and Annabeth were happy. After all, what was a home without your favorite person in all existence to be there for you? They decided that camp would be a safe home for their new family.

The only person who cared nothing about the arrangement was Nico. He knew he didn't have a home anywhere. Home is where your family is, and Nico didn't have a family.

"I'm your family," a voice said. Nico turned around to see Reyna, in all her Roman glory.

"You're not related to me," Nico replied gruffly.

"That doesn't matter. All those times I took care of you on the quest? You have to give me some credit for that." Reyna smiled. "I might as well be your sister."

At the mention of his sister, Nico clammed up.

"You are not my sister and never will be," he argued, frowning.

"I'm sorry. I didn't think you would take it seriously." Reyna looked troubled. "I just meant that I care about you a lot."

"You...you do?"Nico glanced up at her with tears in his eyes.

She nodded, and put an arm around him. "Let's go. People are staring."

Nico shrugged. "I don't care. It's not like they don't know about us."

"What do they know about us?" Reyna asked hopefully.

"They know we're friends. That we've been on a quest together." He looked sideways at her. "That you like me."

"Um..." Reyna's face paled visibly. She tried to deny it. "Only if you like me?"

"I like you as a friend, maybe as a sister." Nico smiled. "You're cute, Reyna. But you're not my type."

And he walked off to join Will at the Apollo table. For once in his life, Nico di Angelo was truly happy.
