SPOV

I felt incredibly awkward and nervous but I couldn't justify a reason for it. I was on Adrian's couch skimming through one of Ms. Terwilliger's magic books trying to focus on how to accomplish a spell she said would one day be helpful to me. Okay sure.

I had just ended a call with Braydon a couple of minutes ago and didn't even notice Adrian was leaning on the kitchen room doorway listening to my entire conversation! Sneaky vampire. Me and Braydon were discussing when and where we were going for our first official date.

"You two sounded like you were setting up a business appointment rather than a date," Adrian finally said after a few moments of my unsuccessful concentration of studying.

"Well it sounds like you are commenting on a conversation that wasn't any of your business to begin with," I fired back. I don't know why I always let Adrian and is witty comments get to me. Who cares what he thinks anyway...right?

Adrian snorted while walking to sit on the love seat to the right of the couch I was sitting on. "Okay Sage if that's what you think then fine," Adrian said with an amused expression on his face. "I was going to give you my brilliant advice before you went on this 'date'," he said while making quote fingers to emphasis date, "but I guess you don't need my help."

"And what brilliant advice could you possibly give that would help me?" I asked and returned the same snort he gave me.

"Well I don't think I need to remind you that you have already named me as brilliant," he laughed, "but answer me this Sage," he continued "Have you ever been on a real date before? Had a boyfriend? Kissed anyone?"

He shot question after question and each one was making me more nauseous because he knew more than I did that the answer to all those questions was NO! As much as I hated to admit it, I probably could take a little advice so that I wouldn't make a fool of my self on the first date of my life.

From the smug look on Adrian's face it would seem like he could read my thoughts. "Fine." I muttered in defeat. What harm would it do anyway right?...Wrong!

I know this chapter is extremely short! It is just a trial chapter seeing as this is the first story I am writing on fanfiction and I want your opinion on interesting you think this story can become. Yes I know there are many questions! Why is Sydney at Adrian's? Where is the rest of the gang? Ect. All will be answered, I promise.

I will be posting a few more chapters just to see how many people respond to the story. I hope you guys like the direction of my idea and please give me feedback people!
