I stared at the water in front of me and wished I was somewhere else entirely. My friends, Ashley and Carrie, had decided to drag my out of my warm bed and outside to the lake by my house. They were staying the night and as usual, wanted to go swimming before they were good and tired.
"Come on you guys. I wanna go back and finish POTC before I get to sleep." I heard them yell back and sighed again. "Please?" I smiled when they climbed up on the dock and they smiled at me widely.
"Sounds good…Will Turner sounds like fun to me." Ashley smirked at Carrie, who giggled, and we all ran back inside where we snuck up the stairs quietly. I put the movie in and we started watching, giving little dreamy sighs every now and then.
"Looks like Mrs. Sparrow back there is getting sleepy." Carrie looked back at me and I threw a pillow at her. She giggled and I snuggled into my covers, getting sleepier and falling asleep as the POTC theme came on.
