Riza reached her hand out for the fading Roy Mustang, screaming his name. It can't be too late, he's the only thing she has left. Roy whispered a soft goodbye, and faded from her grip.

Riza bolted up, startling the man who was clinging on her. She looked to him and took his face in her hands, tears forming in her eyes.

"Thank God, you're here... I don't know..." She shook her head, tears falling.

"Riza.. It's okay, I'm here now." Roys face morphed into a green monster, which then in turn turned into the homunculus, Envy.

Riza screamed and woke up back in reality.

"Colonel Hawkeye?" Havoc was in front of her face, smoking that god damned cigarette. She sat up, rubbing her eyes.

"I was just tired, Lieutenant." She said and stood. "I'll be going now." She put on her coat and walked out of Command, an upset look on her face.

The dream was nice when Roy was still alive. But, like all her dreams lately, they aren't the truth. Roy Mustang is gone, and Riza Hawkeye is alone, the only one to carry his memories.

She went to the graveyard, holding no more sense of pride. He had asked to be buried right next to his best friend, Maes Hughes, and she made sure it happened. She stood in front of Roy's grave then looked to Maes Hughes and stood in front of his, saluting. "Brigadier General." She nodded, then went back to Roy. She sat down smiling softly.

"You may know this, if my theories are correct, that I was promoted to Colonel last week... Maybe it's out of pity or they need a Colonel, who knows. The reverend we scheduled, he called, he game me his condolences and gave the rings back." She set a silver ring on his grave. "Guess I'm Riza Mustang, right?" She chuckled sadly, and slipped on her ring, kissing the gold ring. "You always knew to not be fancy." She cupped her hands together. "Vows right? Well, I promised to stay by your side, and now I'm in front of you. Our legacy will carry on forever, in the spirit of our hearts, and our child." Riza patted her stomach. "Yes, we have a child... I was going to tell you sooner, but you..." She trailed off and saw a pale blue shadow in front of her.

"That's so good to hear, Riza... You're never alone, I'll be there when the scamp is born, I promise."

Riza looked up and tears dropped. "Roy?"

Roy took Riza's hand in his and took off her her ring and smirked.

"Isn't it tradition for us to put the rings on each other?" He grabbed his ring and gave it to her. They slipped each other's rings on their fingers and Roy smiled. "You may now kiss the bride." Riza leaned in for a kiss and Roy faded away but not before whispering 'I love you' against her lips.
