Naraku banished Kagura from his site but not before taking one last jab before she went.
"You know I have your heart. It will never be yours to give away and Lord Sesshomaru would never have you when you are simply an extension of me. He would send you from him as he has always done." For emphasis Naraku squeezed the pumping organ in his hand, a smile dancing across his lips as Kagura grasped her chest and grimaced. She turned to leave, hesitating briefly at the door of his chambers, sparing him a glance over her shoulder.
"You will not last forever, Naraku. When your time comes you will disappear as if your body never existed, however, I am the wind. My body may die at your hand but my presence will be felt by all until the end of time." Satisfied, Kagura left.
Not expecting such a tart reply the smile fell from Naraku's face, replaced by a cruel sneer. To emphasize his disapproval, he squeezed the heart in his hand again until he heard a shriek from somewhere within the building. Satisfied by the hallow thump that followed, he smiled.
