Many a sleepless night had passed, as she sat there and watched her best friend sleep. She looked so peaceful and so beautiful when she slept even more so then during the day if it was possible. Lilly had tried her hardest not to stare afraid of the possibility of Miley waking up at any time. But she had always slept through the night. Sometimes she would lightly run her finger tips along Miley's arm or gently along the side of her face. She couldn't help but smile when she saw Miley's lips gently turn up on the sides. Tonight was different Lilly's desire to just press her lips ever so slightly to her friend's was becoming harder to ignore. But she wouldn't have to ignore it because little did she know Miley wasn't asleep and had never really been any of the previous nights. She had pulled Lilly down to her rolling slightly so she was laying on her and wrapped her arms around her neck. "So are you just gonna look at me all surprised or are you gonna do us both a favor and finally kiss me after all this time?" Miley asked in a whisper and her question had no spoken answer only the soft touch of sweet lips gloss covered lips belonging to her best and the girl she longed to be with the day they had met. That night both of there dreams had come true. And luckily for Lilly no more sleepless nights had come to fallow. Only sweet night of them holding each other and finally falling asleep as they had wanted and needed to for so long.
