I had seen that look of anguish touch his stony features; like he was burning at the stake;
When he thought of losing her.
Why then, should I kill him?
And allow him to escape that fate?
It would be so much more rewarding,
So much more satisfying, to simply leave him with noting;
Nothing at all.
I couldn't kill Edward.
