For Kelly Jo, I miss you.
This story was brought upon to me by a Tumblr post, which gave the theory of Snow White being a vampire. I thought it was an interesting idea, and decided to elaborate. Enjoy and please review.
….
Like Night Locke, the wood of the forest creaked yet silenced in her presence. The moaning of oak quickly ceased as her pale corpse strode by, dragging a rattling bag of bones behind. Her eyes pierced through the fog and found a target with in the rolls of thick mist. Red eyes dilated, her velvet tongue flicked across frothy fangs and she pounced. As her hands grasped her victim, a scream cracked the night.
That vampyr tore into the young maiden's throat, sucking crimson water straight from her canvas nape. The woman crumpled before the demon, retrieving a dagger and thrusting it deep within the monster's gullet. Shrieking, it retreated, withering away into the shadows. Crying the woman held her bleeding neck and rose. She made her way towards the cobbled road, rising to wave a nearby soldier. Rushing her in surprise, the knight held her vast and shouted for help.
The kingdom immediately went into a dramatic panic at the news of the queens death; attacked, pregnant in the woods by a vampyr. The child was pulled out of the corpses' womb, every soul praying the child could be saved, but to no avail. The princess had suffered a worse fate, for she, Snow White, was a strigoi, a vale of the walking dead.

"But first, on earth as vampire sent,
Thy corse shall from its tomb be rent,
Then ghastly haunt thy native place,
And suck the blood of all thy race.
There from thy daughter, sister, wife,
At midnight drain the stream of life,
Yet loathe the banquet which perforce
Must feed thy livid living corse.
Thy victims ere they yet expire
Shall know the demon for their sire,
As cursing thee, thou cursing them,
Thy flowers are withered on the stem."
-Lord Byron
