Summary: This story is about a cat who looses his true love to Starclan. He then promises never to love again, but that might all change with what he might do.

Prologue
"Crystalwing!" Lightningfang ran over to his beloved mate. She was dead. "No no no!" he screamed to the sky. He always knew that their forbidden love would end badly. He was from Lightningclan and she was from Waterclan. He thought back to when they first met, both of their first gatherings. Then they met again while hunting alone on the border.
Finally they admitted their love and started meeting privately at moonhigh…it was a mistake. Then yesterday they decided to run away from their clans to live together for ever, nobody saying anything about their love, again a mistake. Rats had just attacked them and Crystalfang had died. "I will never love again", he whispered. "Because I will always love you".
