When Ino Yamanaka gets worried, shit happens.

When a 10 year old Ino Yamanaka gets worried, bigger shit happens.

It was a regular day at the Acadamy for everyone else, but this lecture was starting to get to her. "In our profession, many ninja will not have a chance to have kids, or even get married. Many of you will not live past twenty. I'm not trying to scare you, these are just the facts of a shinobi's life." The speaker had said. Ino wasn't scared, just worried. She wanted to be a mom because she knew she'd be a great one. She was really only trying to be a ninja because she knew Sasuke-kun wanted to be one, but if she was dead by she was twenty...

What if Sasuke-kun didnt want to get married until later in life? Of course Ino would wait, if she could, but she might be dead!

A Plan B must be ready. Which is what led her to ask her best guy friend this:

"Shika-kun, will you marry me?"

Which caused the genius to choke on his orange juice and cough out, "What? Ino, what the hell are you talking about?" Because even with his amazing "smart-ness", as Ino would put it, This came out of no where.

"I don't want to die old and alone with a bunch of cats. And I think you and me could make some really cute babies. So, will you marry me, in about 8 years?" And woah. Because this girl was talking to him, and she said marriage first, but now she's saying babies. As in plural.

The young Nara sighed, and deciding she was way to determined, he said yes. What did it even matter? It's not like Ino would even remember it a week later. The simplest solution was to calm her nerves and get back to watching clouds.

Six years later, when they start dating and end up getting married two years after, Ino would tell that story at their wedding, and how she had it all planned out before the world renouned stratigest even had a clue.

But Ino Yamanaka was right. Her and Shikamaru did make some really cute babies.
