This is going to be a very very large cast, using characters from almost every book or anime that I've seen and that has interesting characters... none of which are mine, of course.  It will probably be kind of random, and maybe jump around, I'm not sure yet.  This is just for fun.  So far, I'm using characters and ideas from the following:  Full Metal Alchemist (Al, Ed, Winly, Roy, Paninya), Last Herald Mage Trilogy (Van, Ty, Stef, Savil, Gala, Yfandes, Kellan, Breda, Medren), Arrows of the Queen Trilogy (Talia, Dirk, Alberich), Winds of Change Trilogy (Elspeth, Darkwind, Firesong), Legend of Zelda (Link, Zelda, Sprite, Anju, Ganon), Gravitation (Yuki, Shuuichi, Hiro), Gundam Wing (Heero, Duo, Quatre, Trowa, Wufei, Relena), Treasure Planet (Doppler, Jim).  This list will probably expand as the series gets longer... please read and review! thanks ^.^

High School for the Insanely Gifted and Talented

Part 1: Passing Period

Alphonse Elrich lowered his metal, armored hand for his shorter brother, Edward, to slap him a low-five after both aced their Transmutation test with flying colors.  Tylendel pushed open the door of his Calculus class, half-dazed by the complicated equations floating around in his head, and all but bumped straight in to Vanyel Ashkevron, who simply stuck up his nose and brushed off whatever residue Tylendel had left on him.  Zelda made a beeline from her Spellcasting class to the girls' restroom, hoping to avoid Link, who usually came looking for her between classes, and met her best friend Anju halfway there.  Meanwhile, Elspeth and Darkwind made their way to Political Science, holding hands and chatting quietly as they walked.

After finishing her third hour of teaching Mindmagic to a particularly dense group of freshman, who doubtless had remembered little if any of her lesson, Savil sat at her desk in the teacher's office and began planning the next day's activities.  Firesong just finished gathering up the supplies the students would need for their Healing Potions lab, and strutted confidently down the crowded halls with the herbs and other materials, as well as his phoenix bondbird, floating above his head on a magicked platform.  Bard Breda cursed the light softly under her breath as she made her way to the windowless, dimly lit Choir hall.  Brusquely ignoring the shining, adoring eyes of every girl he passed, and the jealous glares of some of the boys, Yuki Eiri slipped easily through the crowded corridors to his classroom, mentally reviewing the Literature and Creative Writing class he had prepared for the day.  Alberich stood, arms crossed and gaze narrowed, staring down his students as they entered the Gymnasium for their daily Arms lessons.

Finally, the bell sounded throughout the school, and those students who were not already in class quickly grabbed their bags and rushed down the halls, with a select few deliberately lagging.  As the halls cleared and the noise in the classrooms quieted down, Principal Colonel Roy Mustang sat back in his chair and sighed with relief.  'Just another two and a half hours, and we can all go home,' he thought, and reverted his attention back to the thick pile of paper sitting on the corner of his desk.
