Emma looks around at the crowd of friends in the center of Main Street, all of the friends she made and family she met, for the better or for the worse. Everyone had said their grief-stricken good byes and hope-filled words of love to each other, even if there were uncivil relationships in the past. Emma stands there, watching everyone expect the worse from the curse cloud that was creeping towards the group. Her parents are kissing and embracing as if they were never going to see each other again. Henry is still hugging Regina, who is doing her best to try to comfort him between her sobs. Neal is... Well, to be completely honest, she doesn't really give a damn where Neal is right now. But everyone has someone; everyone except her. Everyone is having their last moments; everyone except her. I'm the savior. I don't get moments. Emma stares out at the purple cloud making its way through Storybrooke, feeling her stomach drop as it comes closer and closer.
"Emma."
She spins around to face Hook. They stand there for a moment, Hook looking as if he wants to say something but can't get it out. She sees tears brimming in his deep blue eyes, which are sparkling in the sun.
"Emma..." He trails off. "If I could, I would... I would never leave you. I would stay with you. Forever and always."
Emma starts to feel her eyes water; she can't help herself. The man she had met on the beanstalk, the man who had helped her get her son back, the man she had realized so long ago that she cares for him is standing in front of her, moments away from being ripped from her life. She gives him a weak smile and takes a step closer. "Don't forget about me. Don't forget about have we have. Please, Killian."
He chokes on a small sob before answering her. "As you wish."
At that, the tears stream down her face as Emma pulls the pirate in for a kiss. She grips the lapels of his jacket with all of the strength she could muster, sighing into his mouth as he kisses her back. He places his hook at the small of her back and gently cups her cheek, doing whatever he can to deepen the kiss. Emma and Killian Jones are kissing as if death is at their doorstep. And they continue to kiss as the cursed purple fog engulfs them.
