Alanby crept through the empty halls of the hotel, she along with
several other fighters, and their crew, had been placed in NeoEngland to
investigate the suspicions of a new evil that might be lurking. She
silently flew through the hall, knowing that if her crew caught her she
would be in an uncomfortable position, especially for her reasoning for
creeping out, this time it wasn't for video games or to meet Domon, she had
to tell Rain something, she had to let her know her true feelings, her true
feelings for her. Although neither one of them would admit it, they had a
hidden passion for one another. Not wanting to admit it Rain had fled away
from her true feelings, barricading her heart from the feelings she had so
longingly felt, the passion she had wanted to share, the dreams she had had
of her being in Alanby's arms. That was all so new to her. She had no idea
of what she wanted; she had fled. Now that she had returned to be Domon's
partner once again Alanby knew in her heart that she had to express her
true feelings. She came upon her door.
"Okay, girl. You can't mess this up. You have to be honest and
sincere," she had told herself. She tapped upon the door. Rain opened it,
and having had the same thoughts and intentions of talking with Alanby, she
smiled.
"Hi Alanby. I was just thinking about you, there's something I need
to tell you."
"There's something I need to tell you, too, but I need to go first."
"Then by all means sit." Rain offered and sat down on the loveseat in
hopes that Alanby would sit next to her. Alanby then sat right where Rain
had intended her to.
"I.I.don't know how to say this, but I know I have to. I think, well
I think."
